Amanda has worked as Food Editor and Food Director at recipes+, before reaching her position as Editor. Amanda’s foodie mission has varied but her main goal has remained: to make people understand that cooking on a budget is healthy, achievable, exciting and evolving.
“I draw daily inspiration from three main parts of my life: my mother, with only ground cinnamon on her spice rack; my husband, who loves cooking on the barbecue and trying new flavours; and my sister, a busy working mum of three growing boys. We are always talking about food as a family.”
As the exciting journey evolves, the current role as Editor enables me to continue the recipes+ story showcasing what recipes+ is good at- fast easy to prepare budget-driven recipes. Ensuring present and future readers will continue to be encouraged to cook."
