Rainbow veggie crisps

Delicate slices of sweet potato, beetroot and potato are deep fried and sprinkled with natural sea salt for a colourful quick and easy snack. Perfect for the whole family.

  • oil, for deep frying
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 beetroot (200g)
  • SAXA Natural Sea Salt Grinder, to serve


Rainbow veggie crisps

  1. Using a mandolin, thin slicer or knife, slice vegetables into very thin rounds.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat oil on high until it reaches 180°C or a sprinkle of salt sizzles when added.
  3. Deep-fry vegetable slices in 3 batches, for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towel. Season with SAXA Natural Sea Salt.
